We have been looking lately for healthier sweets and tried those raw bars, which are so popular now. They are quite good, but we know for sure, that everything tastes better when it is homemade 🙂 So we decided to make such raw bars on our own. And it turned out to be simple, quick and delicious.

For our raw bars, we took just the dried fruits that we had at home. You can always experiment and try some other fruits, that you have or you like the most.

As always it is just 4 ingredients and just basically 3 steps. So let’s get started!

Ingredients for fig and peanuts bars:

  • 100 g of peanuts
  • 4 dried figs
  • 4 dried apricots
  • 1 tbsp of coconut oil

Method:

  1. First blend peanuts for 30 second (leave a few peanuts for decoration), then add the dried fruit and blend it all together for a minute, add the coconut oil and blend for another minute until it becomes smooth.
  2. Form the bars, we made square ones and decorated them with peanuts.
  3. Put the bars into the fridge for an hour.

These bars are perfect sweets for kids and grownups if you want to add more healthy food into your lifestyle. You can store them in the fridge even for 2 weeks, so it will be a good idea to make more of those for the entire week.

What is great about these bars? There is no need to keep them out of reach of children 🙂
