Today we have for you another perfect breakfast recipe. Cinnamon french toasts are a great option for an autumn morning. To be honest I eat them not only for breakfast but for lunch (especially on Sunday) and dinner time.

Cinnamon is a highly delicious spice. It has been prized for its medicinal properties for thousands of years. It is loaded with antioxidant and has anti-inflammatory properties. On top of that, it may cut the risk of heart diseases and lowers the blood sugar which is very important for people with diabetes. At the end of the day, cinnamon is one of the most delicious and healthiest spices on the planet. Therefore you should use it often in your recipes.

But coming back to the recipe at hand. Cinnamon french toasts are a sweet option but the sweetness does not overpower this dish. That is why cinnamon french toasts are my favourite. Therefore don’t waste another minute and make it with me!

Ingredients for a cinnamon french toasts:

  • 2 eggs
  • 50 ml milk (1/4 glass)
  • 2 tsp of cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 tsp of sugar (we used vanilla sugar)
  • 6 loaves of bread (you can use toast or any other bread)
  • 2 tbsp of butter

Method:

  1. In a bowl beat the eggs lightly until bubbles appear.
  2. Add milk, sugar and cinnamon and mix together.
  3. On a low/medium heat melt 1 tbsp of butter in a frying pan.
  4. While the butter is melting place one loaf of bread in the egg mixture and turn it around until the bread is nicely coated. Put it on the frying pan and repeat the step until no more loaves can fit on a frying pan.
  5. Fry the loaves of bread for 3 minutes or until nice and golden and flip them over. And fry them for another couple of minutes or until golden.
  6. We recommend serving the cinnamon french toasts with jam, whipped cream or powdered sugar.
