Here is something to keep you energized for those rainy summer days (and not only) – banana and coffee milkshake. It is a great alternative to your morning coffee and it can also be a breakfast on the go if you’re in a hurry. This is two in one kind of a recipe :).

We love to make this milkshake before a jogging or going to the gym. Coffee gives a great kickstart to the day, banana gives you that extra energy that you can put into your training and milk will soothe that combination.

On top of that, it takes you no more than 2 minutes to prepare and it tastes so delicious. Moreover, anybody can make it so there is no excuse! So what are you waiting for? Enjoy!

Ingredients for banana and coffee milkshake:

  • 2 bananas
  • 200ml of milk
  • 4 tbs of oat flakes
  • 1 tsp of instant coffee
  • sugar or honey or maple syrup (to taste)

Method:

  1. Put all the ingredients in a blender, and mix until you have a smooth cocktail ready.
  2. Pour it into a tall glass or a takeaway cup and you’re ready to go!

And if you don’t have a blender just mash the banana with your fork and mix all the rest of the ingredients together.
